Training options April 1st 2006 The British Red Cross will use this year's Safety & Health Expo to promote its first aid training courses for the workplace.
Its portfolio contains more than 80 courses, including first aid at work, basic first aid for the appointed person, moving and handling, and automated external defibrillators.
The Red Cross will also be demonstrating 'safe hands', an online community that offers newly trained first aiders life long learning and support. Members have access to a first aid library, discussion forum, video clips, and a Q&A section.
They can also keep up-todate on new legislation.
The charity trains more than 120 000 people a year through scheduled and incompany courses. It also supplies a wide range of first aid products, from first aid kits to AEDs and learning aids.
It operates throughout the country at more than 175 venues and has one single national customer service centre for all bookings and enquiries.
