Insectron units from Berson are insect exterminators that use UV-A and green light to attract flying insects, particularly flies, that are sensitive to these two light sources.

Features include Powertrap, a catch mechanism that prevents dead insects from falling out of the collection tray during cleaning.

While mounted, the Powertrap is open so that bugs fall into the tray.

When the tray needs emptying it must be taken down and the Powertrap automatically closes. The device fits every Insectron model with a high tension grid.

The Ex range has ATEX approval for use in explosive, dusty and wet environments, and the company has ensured it has products to meet the requirements of HACCP.
