Emergency call out when power fails
April 1st 2006

Emergency call-out generator company, Powercall UK has completed the first phase of its national rollout of generator depots, enabling it to provide power-within-thehour across the UK.

Depots are on call 24/7 and are able to respond promptly to any subscribing site experiencing power cuts.

The network is serviced by a 24/7 control room that despatches a generator from a local depot with a target time of less than one hour and a guaranteed commitment to a maximum of three hours.

Typically, the cost is less than £40 per month per site.

Call-outs are free-of-charge.

According to data supplied by the industry regulator Ofgem, the UK experiences about 24 million power cuts a year. Powercall UK provides companies with a cost effective support system that ensures facilities can continue to be operated when outages occur.
