Audiometer rental

First Stop Safety has launched an Audiometer rental package which allows companies to carry out hearing tests using suitably trained staff.

The Control of Noise at Work Regulations that came into force in April 2006 brought in hearing tests for everyone exposed to more than 85DB of noise over a working day. First Stop Safety points out that it is good practice to test the hearing of new staff to establish a base-line.

The Industrial Audiometer Package is PC controlled and easy to operate. It comes with a guide, Guidelines to a good audiometric programme, health questionnaire and user manual. Test results are presented graphically and saved for further analysis.
