Hearing protection: selection simplified
June 1st 2006

To help employers comply with the latest Noise at Work Regulations, E.A.R and Peltor have devised an easyto- use selection system that helps with choosing the correct hearing protection for a particular noise level.

The Optime Alert system uses a logically-coloured classification to simplify the selection process. To find out the current noise level, the user looks at the icons and establishes which band (Recommended Noise Rating) the noise level falls into.

Noting this icon, the user then chooses from a wide range of E.A.R and Peltor products, ensuring that the relevant symbol is displayed.

Included are a selection of earplugs, banded earplugs and earmuffs for each of the noise bands.
