Hi-vis radio earmuffs
December 1st 2007

Howard Leight by Sperian has introduced a new radio hearing protection earmuff.

The Radio Hi-Visibility earmuff is designed to boost worker safety and motivation during repetitive or monotonous tasks.

The luminous green earcups and reflective headband make the wearer easy to see in poor light conditions – day or night – while the earmuffs themselves offer a high level of hearing protection with Sperian's Air Flow Control Technology.

This is said to provide optimal noise attenuation across all frequencies when the radio is switched off and delivers an SNR of 31dB.

When the radio is switched on, Radio Hi-Visibility's electronics ensure listening volume does not exceed 82dB, allowing the wearer to listen at safe levels and be protected while they are working without exposure to additional noise.

The earmuffs also have a new AUX input jack which connects to MP3 players or other portable radio devices.
