Measuring equipment passes the tests

the latest equipment for 'fit testing'
on respirators to meets HSE
282/28, a protocol that now applies
as much to the humble fabric face
mask as it does to the full-face,
oxygen-fed state of the art model.
The TSI PortaCount Pro+ tests staff
members in the required seven
different positions, covers all types
of masks including FFP3 masks
worn by hospital workers who have
direct contact with infected patients
and, crucially for the employer,
delivers a 'Pass or Fail' decision that
makes monitoring statistics simple.
The company can give
independent advice on fit testing as
well as hiring out or selling the
equipment needed for a company
to complete its own testing
programme. The tests are relatively
