Body worn device
April 1st 2011

Public safety technology expert, Argyll, has announced the launch of 'Companion', an innovative body worn device that provides users with a discreet method of summoning assistance to their precise location.

Companion is an assistive technology designed for lone workers and those living with chronic medical or mental health conditions. Companion aids employers in the day to day management of staff' health and safety risk exposure and assists in achieving the duty of care.

In the event of an accident or illhealth, Companion can be used to summon assistance, connecting users via a two-way communication link to a loved one, carer and monitoring centre. All device data and location mapping services will be managed and by Argyll's global Communicare Internet services.
