Comfort calls for office workers
June 1st 2006 There are lots of products on the market aimed at remote lone workers, but what about those who are working late in the office or doing shift work?
OmegaIP has developed a fully Automated safety mechanism for such people.
The company's desktop security solution offers comfort calls to the screen of each individual which they must acknowledge by entering a pin code. With fully configurable parameters, they are able to say when and how often they wish to be contacted, how long they have to respond and who should be contacted if they do not reply to the comfort call.
The desktop security system can be set to 'automatically on'. Provided the worker is on the network, they will be detected and comfort calls will begin automatically. More articles from Omega I.P.: |
