Communication help for lone workers August 1st 2007 The Romad Personal Safety Phone from CellClear is a small, lightweight, two way communication device designed to provide protection and support for vulnerable employees.
It is a low cost, discreet device which can be used by anyone, anywhere, at any time to provide re-assurance in uncertain circumstances or to summon support in an emergency. The unit features satellite positioning technology for accuracy of location.
The support service is available 24 hours a day through a professional Emergency Response Centre (ERC). The device can be used to discreetly generate an alarm into the ERC where the scene of the incident will be located and the sound recorded. The operator assesses the level of support required. The device can also be used as a non-abusable mobile phone storing up to four preprogrammed numbers although anyone can call into the device.
