Offers 24/7 monitoring
October 1st 2007

When an animal health officer from Cornwall County Trading Standards Service was attacked while visiting a farm with a vet, Trading Standards decided to review its lone worker protection and has subsequently purchased 21 Identicare units as part of an integrated lone worker solution from Argyll.

David Phillips, head of service at Cornwall Trading Standards, explains "Our animal health officers regularly go to farms and markets to enforce animal licensing and welfare, while our trading standard officers can find themselves in potentially dangerous situations when enforcing the law, or responding to a complaint. Argyll's Identicare was chosen for its simplicity of pricing, ease of use and its 24/7 monitoring centre." The company is providing a total solutions package that includes the Indenticare unit, operator response, tracking, training and configuration with an appropriate mobile network and ongoing support.
