Protecting those who work alone
April 1st 2006

Omega IP's lone worker protection system provides a fully automated system that helps organisations to keep their workers safe.

The 24 hour automated system keeps track of all workers' appointments, raising alarms in a variety of ways using the company's unified communications system to interact with other staff.

Lone worker appointments are entered via the web, by telephone, mobile handset, email or MS Outlook.

Features include: automated, user-definable, comfort calls which the user must acknowledge; automated response to lone workers' Red and Amber alerts; and alert notification via telephone, mobile, SMS and email.

There is an escalation of alerts to colleagues, supervisors and security personnel, with guaranteed contact escalation. Full voice recording, system logging and panic service is included.

The OmegaIP lone worker solution connects using open standards to most telephone systems and SMTP mail servers. The easyto- install module requires a Windows 2000n server or above with a minimum P4 processor.
