Safe behaviour rewarded
May 1st 2009 Employees of sign installation and
maintenance firm Xmo Strata, will
be vying for the chance to win a trip
to the Big Apple in recognition of a
proactive approach to workplace
safety.
The prize will be awarded as part
of the firm's ongoing commitment
to improving its safety culture.
"This award is not just about
following protocol; wearing the
correct PPE and filling in the right
paperwork," says Steve Martin,
managing director of Xmo Strata.
"It's about going that extra mile to
create a safe working environment
for everyone on-site. Employees will
be rewarded for their ability to
identify and eliminate risks at source,
demonstrate a forward thinking
approach to safety, and improve the
