Easily-accessible e-learning package
June 1st 2006 Safety Learning from Safety Media is described as a flexible, easily-accessible and cost effective means of delivering health and safety training to employees.
The package is said to be the first step towards covering health and safety training responsibilities and provides a platform for risk analysis and management training.
It offers a blended ELearning approach using a combination of traditional self-paced training and instructor-led training.
The self-paced E-Learning modules allow users to complete the training at their own workstations in their own time, or the time allocated to them by their employers. There are 16 interactive modules to choose from, each taking 20 to 25min to complete.
Instructor-led training using the company's group training function provides trainees with interaction and excitement and, by using interactive handsets and group participation, learners achieve high levels of content retention.
