Access to work
March 1st 2010

Through a system of grants, the disability programme, Access to Work, delivered by Jobcentre Plus, provides advice and support to disabled people and their employers to help them meet their obligations under the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA).

The temporarily suspended cost share for small and medium sized employers will return on March 31st.

According to specialist keyboard supplier Maltron this move will help smaller employers, who may struggle to find the resources to employ disabled people to purchase the necessary equipment including: anti RSI keyboards, single-handed keyboards, head/mouth stick/single finger keyboards or the Maltron Expanded keyboard, for those with visual and muscle control problems.
