Generating power to meet meat demands
August 1st 2008

Merlin Power Management has enabled a producer of meat products, to continue production after a major fire destroyed part of the factory at the company's site in Andover.

Randall Parker Foods was determined that customers would not be affected by the disaster, and within a matter of hours Merlin had supplied standby power that enabled the company to be back in full production within two working days.

Merlin supplied three generators, ranging from 50 to 500kVA, as well as remote bulk fuel tanks, distribution boards, changeover panels and cabling sets.

The generators are running as prime power units and providing power to the entire manufacturing process.

Merlin also undertakes regular servicing, fuel delivering and fuel management as part of the contract
