MOUSE WINS FIRA ERGONOMICS AWARD
June 1st 2005

The Perific wireless dual mouse has been awarded FIRA’s (Furniture Industry Research Association’s) Ergonomic Excellence Award. It changes the way computer operators use their mouse, improving ergonomics and potentially eliminating the risk of upper limb disorders and RSI.

Distributed in the UK by Hela Corporate Wellbeing, the Perific mouse is actually two mice in one.

It can be used like a regular mouse or held, enabling computer users to vary their position.

Levent Caglar, senior ergonomist at FIRA, explains “You can lean back in your seat holding the mouse and use the track ball to browse the internet or to continue operating your computer.

The Perific can be worn on the hand for rapid, strainfree switching between mouse and keyboard.
