Checking out football's loud crowd
August 1st 2006 The search is on for the loudest and most passionate supporters in the Coca-Cola Football League with the launch of the Real Football Roar award.
Noise levels will be measured at every Coca-Cola Football League match played during the opening two weekends of the season using sound level meters provided by Cirrus Research.
The club whose supporters generate the most noise as the teams emerge from the tunnel will win the honour of being named the loudest fans in the Coca-Cola Football League.
Cirrus Research has provided 36 sound level meters which will be used by an independent representative of PA Sport to take measurements at each of the 72 clubs over the first two weekends of the season. More articles from Cirrus Research plc: |
