Entry level sound meter
October 1st 2009

Cirrus Research is advising businesses to ensure they are conforming to Noise at Work regulations. Designed specifically for noise at work applications, Cirrus sees its entry level CR:262A Sound Level Meter as a cost effective way for businesses to protect themselves from potential litigation.

Robust and easy to use, the cost effective CR:262A is suited to users looking to make noise at work measurements but don't want to have to learn how to use complicated instruments.

"Although businesses may be tempted by cheaper instruments manufactured in the Far East, often these cannot be calibrated to correctly meet the requirements of UK Noise at Work regulations," said James Tingay, group marketing manager of Cirrus Research.
