Meter and software
April 1st 2006

Available from Campbell Associates, Norsonic's Nor132 sound level meter is robust in design and simple to operate, helping the user to carry out a risk assessment for noise.

The instrument measures and stores all the required parameters simultaneously.

These can then be connected via a USB connection to a PC. The user drags and drops the measurements to instantly produce test certificates that will advise if noise limits are exceeded.

Nor-Protector software is available to help with the selection of appropriate hearing protection. It needs data on the frequency content of the noise, and the Nor132 is able, in real time, to collect this information which is also transferred to the software.
