or around the perimeter of a
site demands a tough
instrument. NoisePro,
available from Shawcity, is a
rugged noise dosemeter
suitable for industrial noise
dose and sound level
measurement.
There is an outdoor kit
that protects the instrument
in a compact, watertight
case. It allows the boom
microphone to operate
effectively while the
NoisePro is mounted
unobtrusively from perimeter
fencing.
Noise data is datalogged
at any interval the user
chooses, and includes Leq,
Lmax, Lpk and Lmin. The
user can collect 60h of data
at 1min interval logging. A
disposable alkaline battery
allows 50h of unattended
operation. Data can be
retrieved in seconds using
the software supplied. Once
downloaded, the user can
view graphs, formatted
reports, statistical data and
an overall summary.
NoisePro can also be used
