Grendonstar's tried-andtested approach to the avoidance of drugs and alcohol at work is based on a positive philosophy that both motivates staff and provides assistance to management.

Combining employee welfare issues with the need to meet current health and safety legislation, the strategy is designed to improve safety, maximise staff retention and minimise lost productivity.

Originally established to provide drug and alcohol testing systems to employers, the company recognised the need for organisations to offer a fair and workable drug and alcohol misuse policy.

It now offers specialist consultancy services with awareness training, confidential testing, counselling and advice on all legal and employee welfare issues.
