1st July: No ifs or butts
June 1st 2007

As from 6am on 1st July 2007, England will join other UK countries in switching to smoke-free workplaces. Millions of businesses are already busy preparing for the changes in legislation and taking advice on how to make the switch with little or no disruption.

Parker Merchanting has been following the legislation changes in Scotland and Wales and has put together a leaflet detailing a range of products for companies to consider.

These range from discreet ashtray bins to full size, fixed smoking shelters. In addition, the company offers a smoking signs pack that has all the safety signs and labels needed to make sure a workplace is well within the legal requirements.

Parker Merchanting has 18 branches nationwide that are fully prepared for the changes in legislation and carry extra stocks of key items.
