For COSHH assessments
April 1st 2006

Environmental Science (ESL) has developed new software that enables users to easily produce a workplace safety sheet for COSHH.

The Workplace Action Safety Protection Sheet (WASPS) is a one-page graphical representation of hazards in the workplace.

It is easy to create WASPS from product labels and the sheets can be displayed in laminated form near a work bench.

Workers whose mother tongue is not English will find the system useful because the sheets are pictorial and available in other languages.

The software is sold on a subscription basis in order to keep up-to-date with any legal changes.

It is also available with a library of pre-created WASP sheets for hundreds of chemicals commonly used in industry.
