ritchey-id has formed an alliance with Redkite Systems to supply its robust polyurethane labels as part of Redkite's barcode and RFID Equipment Management Solution. This is a software system for organisations required by health and safety regulations to regularly assess the condition of operational equipment.

It uses a Psion-based, handheld reader with ritcheyid's colour-coded polypropylene labels to provide a solution that is enabled for barcode or RFID.

It quickly locates and identifies equipment and allows safety inspection and inventory details to be input while inspectors and other staff are on the road.
