Independent audit September 1st 2009 Although they have many
advantages, in-house audits can
carry pitfalls, particularly as they are
neither independent nor necessarily
impartial. To counteract this, RoSPA
has developed its Independent Inhouse
Audit, a new service to
complement in-house systems and
help organisations to get the best of
both worlds.
The service combines the benefits
of a firm's own in-house audit system
with the advantages of using a thirdparty
RoSPA auditor who provides
an independent, external viewpoint –
considered best practice by the
Health and Safety Executive and
likely to reduce audit timescales,
making this a cost-effective option
with minimum disruption. More articles from RoSPA: |
