CHANGE OF KEYBOARD REMOVED RSI PAIN February 1st 2004 PCD Maltron claims it makes sound economic sense for human
resources departments to keep one of its fully ergonomic keyboards for anyone who starts to suffer from RSI.
At Shropshire solicitors, Lanyon Bowdler, Kath Sixsmith bought a Maltron keyboard for an employee who was suffering from carpal tunnel syndrome in both wrists. The employee persevered with the strange shape of the keyboard and, six weeks later, found she
did not need to wear her usual wrist braces and that she could type without pain or discomfort.
Maltron says changing to one of its ergonomic keyboards has proved effective in about 2000 cases so
far. www.maltron.com More articles from P C D Maltron Ltd: |
