e-learning drive February 1st 2006 Cortexa has joined forces with Northamptonshire County Council (NCC) to bring static classroom learning to life for its employees, with the introduction of a range of CD-ROM-based training modules. The 'Introduction to Continuous Improvement' and 'Health & Safety' modules are the first training programmes to be released for NCC.
Cortexa's successful conversion of NCC's on-site training programme to an interactive CD-ROM-based delivery enables information to be conveyed more efficiently and cost- effectively to an organisation with thousands of employees across the county.
Gary Pyke, Northamptonshire County Council's Learning and Development Manager commented, "Cortexa's elearning modules enable all our employees, whether on nightshift or working weekends, to learn at their own pace. Not only have we gained in terms of resource but we've also made significant cost savings, dramatically reducing the cost of training per delegate." |
