An updated version of an interactive, online Cardio- Pulmonary Resuscitation refresher training course is now available from EssentialSkillz.

The 40min course covers the theoretical requirements of the European Resuscitation Council Guidelines 2000 for adult and paediatric basic life support.

It is said to be ideal as a refresher-training tool for those who have already undertaken a practical course.

Refresher training is essential to maintain skill levels as, according to the UK Resuscitation Council, “Many trainees are no longer able to demonstrate effective CPR only a few weeks after attending a course. After six months, it has been shown that skill retention may be as low as 10%.” A training record for each employee is created and maintained by O-LAS Learning Management System.
