SAFETY VIDEO COVERS STREET & ROAD WORKS

Inroads, a new programme aimed at promoting best health and safety practice for operatives involved in street and road works, is the result of a partnership between Accord and media production company TVA.

The 20min programme, available in VHS and DVD formats, is supported by a presenter’s guide and pocket guide. All essential health and safety issues involved in street and road works are covered, from traffic management to dealing with the public.

Gerry Duffy, Accord’s health & safety director, says “We put a lot of effort into ensuring the content was right, and involved safety professionals from The National Term Maintenance Contractors Safety Forum (NTMCSF) in vetting scripts and commenting on the programme before it was released.”
