Plastic barriers bring safety benefits
October 1st 2010

Safety barrier specialist A-Safe is working alongside leading international companies to provide first class safety systems, helping to reduce workplace accidents and protect valuable assets.

Companies such as Kimberly Clark, Proctor & Gamble and Coca- Cola operate high-traffic warehouses and manufacturing plants and have seen first-hand the benefits of the polymer-based safety barrier systems over and above steel equivalents by providing the strength and durability of steel, with the flexibility, and reduced maintenance of plastic.

A-Safe provides barriers for applications such as door protectors, height restrictors and ground level traffic barriers to help protect warehouse assets during loading and unloading.

A-Safe pedestrian and vehicle barrier systems use patented, highly visible plastic systems which are tough, durable and can withstand impacts from factory vehicles of up to 304KN – this is equivalent to a 3.5t vehicle travelling at 10mph impacting the barrier head-on.
