Prepare for new noise control laws with Casella
December 12th 2005

Noise monitoring equipment specialist, Casella, claims it can smooth the compliance process of new control of Noise at Work Regulations – which come into force next April.

The CEL-430 Integrating Sound Level Meter, which Casella claims is the world’s first integrating sound level meter with a specialised auto-calibration capability, is aimed at any business wanting to monitor noise emitted from machines and other work applications in order to assess workforce noise exposure.

Casella says with its simple and effective route to field calibration, the CEL-430 can accurately measure all types of sound level, including impact noise. The company says it is extremely easy to operate and meets all regulation requirements. The meter is also equipped with a single span measurement range up to 140dB so all the action levels in the regulations can be measured simultaneously.

Casella is giving away a CEL-430 kit – worth £1000 – including calibrator, download software and kit case to one lucky HSM eNews reader. All you have to do is click here and register for the newsletter service.
