Space saving safe drum storage

Safety Unlimited’s new DSU64PBC drum storage unit allows the user to store 64 x 205 litre drums, i.e. 16 pallets, two deep, on two levels. The specialised push-back loading enables the user to load and un-load the unit without the need for fork lift extensions, and eliminates the need for doors on both sides of the unit, therefore saving valuable space.

How does it work?

By placing the first pallet on the Pushback cradle, on the shelf, and pushing back the next pallet against the first one. When one pallet is taken off of the shelf the next pallet automatically glides forward. This is a safe, proven system used in pallet rack systems, says Safety Unlimited.

The units are manufactured to comply with current Environmental and Health & Safety legislation, are fully bunded, have high and low flame arrested ventilation, and are available with sliding or roller shutter doors. All units have a fully galvanised roof and rain gutter to prevent corrosion and they are internally and externally finished in a chemical resistant Polyurethane paint finish.
