New safety gloves a cut above the rest?

Safety and Health Expo 2006 saw BM Polyco showcase its latest range of high technology products developed by the dedicated in-house Innovation Centre.

Introducing BladeShades 5x5, a newly developed range of cut resistant gloves available in 5 colours – blue, white, green, red and yellow.

Developed and produced using Dyneema technology, BladeShades 5x5 not only scores EN388 cut level 5, but also >27N using the ISO cut test method, now the preferred choice for testing of high performance yarns and fabrics.

Tying in with existing colour co-ordination in food production facilities, BladeShades 5x5 is an added safety precaution in helping to reduce the risk of cross contamination between different processing areas. The advancement BladeShades 5x5 brings will help enhance safety and protection measures already put in place by food producers in line with HACCP procedures.
