Compressed air safety courses
March 2nd 2006

A new course ‘Working Safely with Compressed air’ from BCAS fills the gap of independent safety training specific to compressed air. With input from health and safety practitioners, the fully interactive online course covers:

  • Hazards and risks of using air tools, including issues specific to blow guns
  • How users can protect themselves and colleagues
  • What constitutes unsafe practices
  • Selection of the correct PPE
  • Reporting hazards and safe practices to be followed

The course is an hour long with an online assessment for candidates to complete to attain their BCAS certificate.  This provides evidence of employee health and safety knowledge and employer commitment.  Price £35+VAT.
