Fresh ideas and essential advice at Clothing @ Work Show

The Clothing At Work Show at GMex, Manchester on 4th and 5th April is providing a series of workshops and demonstrations that aim to enlighten first-time and experienced workwear clothing buyers on the opportunities, practicalities, pitfalls and ethical responsibilities of sourcing and providing clothing for people at work. These include: Buying and Selling with a Conscience, Employers Responsibility / Liability re PPE and Sourcing Focus. The dedicated workwear clothing event also provides the clothing industry with a high profile occasion to demonstrate its scope and expertise in design, technology, creativity, logistics and customer service.

3M, manufacturers of Scotchlite Reflective Materials will be exhibiting a wide range of high performance reflective solutions for use on high visibility work wear on Stand no. 94. Caroline Walton, Product Specialist for 3M Scotchlite Reflective Materials, explains, “Exhibitions like the Clothing @ Work Show are vital for buyers to glean up to date information from industry professionals on legal requirements within the industry, recent innovations, new products and market trends. As a supplier of a complete range of reflective materials, 3M can give advice on the use of all types of reflective material on garments for any industry."

Bureau Veritas CPS UK, exhibiting on stand no. 78, offers a service for importers, retailers, brands and mail order companies to thoroughly test the performance of PPE, corporate clothing and technical textiles before sale. As a UKAS approved laboratory for gloves and clothing, the company can carry out EC Type examinations of PPE that provides protection against chemical hazards, heat, flame and cold, foul weather, mechanical and cutting risks, clothing for high visibility protection and protective equipment for sport and leisure.
