Your're livelihood's in your hands Keyboard-induced pain banished October 16th 2006 Having used typewriters and computer keyboards every day for nearly 30 years, Bill Bordas started to develop pains and numbness in his hands in 1990. The pain gradually got worse, leading Bordass to consider how he could cope if he had to stop using a keyboard entirely. Then to compound the problem he injured his hands in a fall in 1994. Although they got better, typing was now excruciating.
"I researched ergonomic keyboards. One review sat Maltron stood out and had a genuinely positive effect," says Bordass. "I hired one and nearly returned it. But after two weeks perserverance, I suddenly got the hang of it. I bought it; and for the past 11 years I have been using it nearly every day, often for long periods, with little or no pain. My hands got better but they are still fragile. When I am forced to use my laptop, the begin to hurt again. Without the Maltron I might not have been able to continue using a laptop at all; and my livelihood depends on it."
Maltron keyboards are specifically designed to fit hands and greatly reduce pain. Visit www.maltron.com for more information and user stories.
