According to the HSE, back disorders are the most common form of ill health at work. The HSE is running a Better Backs Campaign this Autumn with financial assistance and promotional materials provided free of charge.
EssentialSkillz is working with clients to develop an effective and easy to implement Better Backs Awareness Campaign, central to which is raising awareness and reducing the risk of injury by highlighting those employees who are most exposed to injury. The Campaign comprises of:
1. Promotion
Announce your organisation's involvement in the Better Backs Campaign by hanging the free to order HSE posters in key areas and on notice boards around the workplace.
2. Online Training
Raise awareness, educate, and share best practices of manual handling with employees, contractors and business partners. EssentialSkillz newly released Manual Handling (v2) training course takes on average only 40 minutes.
3. Maintaining Awareness
Keep the Better Backs message subtly in front of workers long after your campaign with a themed screensaver, branded with your corporate identity, on every workstation.
4. Campaign Wrap-up
