Health and Safety 07 seminar programme announced
August 9th 2007 As Health and Safety 07 hits the north, it brings a top quality educational content programme with it.
The full programme of seminars taking place at the Health and Safety 07 event at the Reebok Stadium, Bolton on the 10th and 11th of October has been announced. The event, sponsored by DuPont, combines a high quality educational programme with an exhibition.
Seminars are delivered by industry experts and IOSH members representing the Manchester and North West Districts Branch. The seminar content will appeal to those employed in engineering, manufacturing and construction as well as the public sector with highly respected speakers delivering papers in all sectors.
Highlights include, Malcolm Tumbridge delivering a seminar on Manual Handling on behalf of IOSH on day one. Speaking from experience, Tumbridge will describe a process used to identify manual handling problems and assessments that identify not just the risk but practical solutions to implementing a safe system of work.
