BSC launches free on-line assessment tool
December 3rd 2007

A free on-line program that allows organisations to quickly benchmark their health and safety performance is now available on the BSC's website.

Launched as part of the BSC's contribution to the recent European Safety Week, the new diagnostic tool comprises 50 questions with "Yes" or "No" answers. The tool provides organisations with an immediate overall rating for their safety practices, and highlights areas for improvement.

BSC Deputy Chief Executive Jonathan Bramsdon said: "It should take just five minutes to complete the test and it is absolutely free - why not give it a go and see how you measure up? Once you're done, you can print off your results and you can also email them on to a colleague."
