Enter the RoSPA 2007 Health and Safety awards now January 5th 2007 The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) wants to remind potential contestants that the closing date for entries into its 2007 Occupational Health and Safety Awards is fast approaching.
Entrants are welcome from private and public sector organisations, 'first time' entries and new firms from the full spectrum of employment, all entrants stand an equal chance of winning so there really is no excuse not to enter.
Awards vary from achievement certificates (Merit up to Gold) recognising individual organisations' performance, to the competitive Industry Sector awards, and the ultimate accolade, the Sir George Earle Trophy. There are also special awards for small and medium-sized businesses, training, occupational health, environmental management and the management of occupational road risk.
The closing date for entries is February 19 and presentations to winners will be made at ceremonies held alongside the Safety and Health Expo exhibition and RoSPA's Occupational Health and Safety Congress in Birmingham on May 22-24.
