Exhaust fume problems?
January 3rd 2008

Vehicle exhaust fumes contain over 40 different substances that are listed as air pollutants. Exhaust fumes are not always visible. The common perception of modern engines is that these have been removed; the true picture is that they have simply been made smaller so that they cannot be seen.

These smaller particles are now being linked to the increase in the number of people with respiratory diseases as they by pass the natural filters in our noses.

EHC Teknik has developed a range of exhaust filters that fit directly to the tailpipe of most vehicles. These provide greater flexibility than fixed extraction equipment as the vehicle can be moved with the filter attached. There are no trailing hoses creating a trip hazard and vehicles can be in the remote parts of the building. The filters also cut down the amount of dust that accumulates within the building.

The filters have a wide range of uses, including in production facilities, repair workshops, exhibition halls, construction sites, on ships, and aircraft hangers. Everywhere an engine is running there is an exhaust gas problem EHC filters can reduce this.
