Earplugs for the young
March 7th 2007

With today’s louder life styles, young people often don't fear the dangers of workplace noise and its long term effects enough to motivate them to wear hearing protection.

Peltor, a specialist in hearing protection for over 50 years, says it believes younger workers are driven by an earplug’s look, comfort and design which is why it has developed two new products in its NEXT range

Torque earplugs perform well by providing protection for virtually all noisy environments. The metallic colouring makes the earplugs look as tough as nails, but they are made from Ultra-soft foam that provides day long comfort. The screw ‘threads’ are moulded into the foam for more than looks, twisting the plug while pushing into the ear canal can achieve an optimum seal.

Completing the Peltor Next range is the Pulsar banded hearing protector. Thanks to its ergonomic neckband and comfortable dual moulding it guarantees greater stability, grip and comfort. The ‘ComforTip’ pod, no matter how vigorous the job, stays snugly fit in the ears ensuring consistent fit and attenuation. The Pulsar not only looks good but performs excellently.
