Bacou-Dalloz becomes Sperian Protection
October 1st 2007 Sperian Protection is the name chosen by PPE specialist, Bacou-Dalloz, as it takes on a new unifying identity as part of its international expansion strategy.
The group says it chose the name Sperian because it balances strong and soft sounds which evokes the company’s expertise, the relationship of trust between a worker and their equipment and confidence between the company and its customers.
Introducing the new identity, Henri-Dominique Petit, chairman and chief executive officer of Bacou-Dalloz declared:
“In order to inaugurate a new stage in our history, reflect our new dimensions and assert our ambitions as a Group, Bacou-Dalloz is changing its name to Sperian Protection. Sperian is intended to symbolise the optimum quality of our products, advice and services.”
Coherent with its expansion strategy, the Group has made two major announcements during the last few weeks; the acquisition of the Norwegian company Nacre AS, specialist in intelligent earplugs, and the opening of a new decontamination suit production plant in France.
