BSC conference on concerns for small businesses
August 14th 2008

The BSC has organised a half-day conference in order to get a clear view from small business organisations on the problems they face getting expert and proportionate health and safety advice and guidance, and their views on the need for the regulation of health and safety practitioners.

'Do you run or manage a small business? How to ensure that the advice and guidance you get on health and safety is accurate and expert' will be held on Friday, 10th October at the Hilton, London Euston Hotel.

Judith Donovan CBE, Chair of HSE's Small Business Trade Association Forum is the keynote speaker for the event and there will also be speeches from Nina Wrightson OBE, Chair of the BSC Board of Trustees, and Brian Nimick, BSC's Chief Executive.

With registration fees at £150 for BSC members and £200 for non-members (excluding VAT), the event is an opportunity to share best practice in business management and development.

The deadline for registration is Friday, 19 September. For more information and to register online, visit www.britsafe.org/events/conference.aspx
