BSIF Industry Networking Day
November 3rd 2008

For the last 12 years, during October the supply side of the safety industry has got together to socialise and informally discuss trends within the UK safety market. The 2008 event was held at the Forest of Arden Hotel in Birmingham and attended by over 160 people.

During the day, delegates can play golf, try their driving skills on a Grand Prix karting track or take part in various country pursuits. The golf this year was particularly fiercely fought, with Dermot Healy form Ireland coming out the eventual winner.

Following the Gala dinner in the evening, the ‘real event’ takes place, when the industry can get together over a few informal drinks. With the market being particularly tough at present, it is an ideal opportunity for industry members to meet old colleagues and let their hair down a bit before getting back into the competitive world.
