Incentivise drivers for safety, says national road safety charity
December 12th 2008

A Fleet Safety Forum campaign is asking organisations to use incentive schemes wisely to ensure safer driving behaviour.

The campaign is being launched with an information pack providing fleet managers with guidance on implementing and managing incentive schemes to best effect, avoiding potential pitfalls such as under- or mis-reporting of incidents. A wild-west style ‘Reward’ poster, providing managers with an eye-catching opportunity to publicise their own schemes amongst drivers, is included in the pack.

Copies of the information pack can be obtained from Brake by calling 01484 559909 or emailing admin@brake.org.uk. One pack is available free of charge to the first 50 organisations who request it.

The information pack has been funded by Balfour Beatty Utility Solutions.
