Reactec says its HAVmeter is a new way to manage employee’s exposure to Hand-Arm Vibration. The low cost system has been designed and developed based on feedback from global construction companies, public bodies and small, local industries trying to control and eliminate the risks of Hand Arm Vibration exposure. The HAVmeter objectively monitors and records individuals' exposure to Hand Arm Vibration and will alarm employees when they are approaching their legal daily limit.

The HAVmeter gives power tool users a running total of their vibration points exposure throughout the day and warns before high exposure levels are reached. Additional valuable information such as tool usage and details of tools producing abnormal or excessive amounts of vibration can also be recorded.

Individual employee vibration exposure records are automatically downloaded to the base station and simple PC based software can be used to report on HAV policies.

Key features

  • Continuous and clear display of vibration dose to reduce high vibration exposure
  • Designed for use on all tools, including pneumatic, mains and battery powered
  • Automatic HAV exposure record for each employee
  • Quality data on employee exposure, tool usage and tool vibration performance
