Machinery Safety: 10 years on and going strong

2008 sees the 10th anniversary of the amended Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations (PUWER 98) coming into force. It is also the 10th anniversary of Laidler Associates, one of the UK’s leading machinery safety

consultancies, being formed. Laidler will be running with the theme of 10 during 2008 to celebrate the anniversary, including 10 free safety workshops across the country and 10 fact sheets detailing the key elements of machinery safety.

10 years will also be the theme of this years Machinery Safety conference on September 16th. Speakers will be looking at how machinery safety has changed over the last 10 years and where they see it going in the future.
