Responsible for health and safety in the welding and metal fabrication industry?

Industry suppliers and experts from the Welding and Metal Fabrication industry are to come together at a new free event which looks at improving health and safety and working practices in the process of welding and metal fabrication.

Nederman Preston is hosting the two day event, which takes place on the 12th and 13th March 2008 and runs from 10.00am – 4.00pm at Nederman’s premises in Preston Lancashire.

Companies participating include: Thermadyne, Abicor Binzel, HS Laboratories, Association of Welding Distributors, Jackson Products, Gullco, Air Products plc, Desoutter UK Bohler Thyssen and Weldsafe. These market experts are suppliers of products and services which will improve health and safety and working practices when welding and metal fabrication is carried out.

During the day, there are also a number of seminars covering legislation and other issues, from companies such as Air Products on safe handling of compressed gas storage, and Desoutter UK on Hand/Arm vibration regulations (among others).

Experts will be on hand to give advice, and show live product demonstrations. There will be lunch and refreshments available on the day.
